How To Find Us
St James Private Radiology is based in St James’s Hospital in Dublin 8. The practice has two offices within the hospital campus. CT, Ultrasound, Dexa scans and Breast Imaging is done in the Private Clinic X-ray department in Hospital 2. X-rays, MRI, PET-CT, Nuclear Medicine and procedures are carried out in the Main Hospital X-ray department. A member of staff will advise you which office to attend.
Private Clinic X-ray Department in Hospital 2: The private clinic is on the second floor of Hospital 2 adjacent to the St James’s Luas stop.
Main hospital X-ray Department: This is located in the main hospital building. Follow route 1 to the main hospital, once inside, follow the signs for the X-ray Reception, then follow the black line on the floor (which starts at reception) to our office door.
How to get here:
By Car: Please enter the hospital by the James's St entrance. Please park in the private clinic car park behind hospital 2 if attending the private clinic x-ray department. Please park in the underground car park adjacent to the main hospital if attending the main hospital x-ray department.
By Bus: The Dublin bus route 123 passes through the hospital grounds and stops near the main hospital entrance. Bus route 40 and 13 stop at the James’s Street entrance and bus route 68 stops on the South Circular Road close to the Rialto Gate entrance. For more information see www.dublinbus.ie
By Luas / Train: The Red Line Luas between Tallaght and Connolly Station has three stops adjacent to the hospital. Please alight at the James’s Street stop. This line also serves Heuston and Connolly Stations. For more information visit www.luas.ie
By DublinBikes: There is a Dublinbikes station adjacent beside the main entrance of the hospital and at the Rialto gate www.dublinbikes.ie . There are also numerous secure bicycle parking areas on site.
By Foot: The hospital is location on James's Street and is approximately a 20 minute walk from Trinity College.
